Our hotel has 53 comfortable rooms with approx. 140 beds (120 beds plus 20 extra beds) and an 800m² wellness island with indoor pool, sauna area, fitness room, sunbathing lawn and spa. Working in a house that stands for genuine hospitality – working where appreciation is lived. That’s Wastlwirt.
Reception
The main task of our receptionists is to ensure that the guests are doing as well as possible. Of course, a friendly and familiar appearance is important here. During the day, our reception team handles the check-in and check-out of guests, processes reservation requests, gives tips on what guests can do during the day and writes menus or the daily mail.
We are also happy to hire career changers in this department. Basic requirements are computer skills including Microsoft Office products (especially Word and Excel), very good German and moderate English.

Housekeeping
The housekeeping staff takes care of ensuring that the house stays in shape and that the guest finds a clean holiday destination again. The chambermaids/boys tidy up the rooms or clean them after departure. The tasks also include cleaning the public areas, such as the hotel lobby or the SPA area. We also wash the terry toweling ourselves in the house, the bed linen is washed externally by a company.
The caretaker takes care of minor repairs and regular maintenance of equipment. His tasks also include ensuring that the garden and parking spaces around the house look good in summer and are free of snow in winter.

Service
The Lungauer Stub “n as the main restaurant in the Hotel & Restaurant Wastlwirt **** offer a unique setting for many a tasty meal. Each of the five Stub” n with a total of approx. 140 seats is furnished differently and reflects in its own way the Lungau tradition and part of the Wastlwirt history. There is also a guest garden with approx. 50 seats in summer. In these rooms we serve both hotel guests and àlacarte guests.
We offer guests breakfast from 07.30-10.00, during which the Chef de Rangs and the Commis de Rangs take care of the guests. The restaurant is also open from 18.00-22.00, where guests can choose either from the show kitchen “Rauchkuchl”, from the country-style kitchen àlacarte, or a 5-course romantic dinner in our vaulted cellars.

The bartender takes care of our guests in the afternoon during the afternoon snack buffet until 17.00. Coffee and simple alcoholic beverages are usually ordered there. During the main business in the restaurant, he supports his colleagues there, and after dinner he usually spoils the guests with alcoholic beverages or cocktails. The bar is open until approx. 00.00.

Kitchen
In addition to breakfast from 07.30-10.00 and the afternoon snack from 12.00-17.00, we offer three different offers in the evening from 18.00 to 21.30:
From the country-style kitchen, our guests can order typical regional dishes àlacarte.

The “Rauchkuchl” (pictured) is a very special kitchen that is rarely found today. A wide variety of specialties from the Lungau region of enjoyment, but also international delicacies, are prepared over the open fire directly in front of the guests.
