  The Golf Founder Hotel Wastlwirt**** and the Golf Club Lungau, 2.5 km away, are the ideal places for golf beginners. Take a relaxing vacation at the Wastlwirt and let yourself be pampered by every trick in the book. Your host Rudi Baier, himself a passionate golfer, will give you valuable tips for your perfect golf course.

  The Lungau Golf Club is home to the first PGA-certified golf school that specializes in teaching small groups. During your golf course at the Lungau Golf School, you will learn a solid technique, coordination, tactics and strategy. Of course, you can also simply improve your handicap at the Lungau Golf Club between the Salzburg Tauern and the Carinthian Nockberge mountains.

  A true golfer’s Eldorado awaits all guests of the Golfgründer Hotel Wastlwirt**** in the Austrian town of St. Michael im Lungau. Nowhere else in Austria are 7 different alpine golf courses as close together as around the Wastlwirt in the border triangle of Salzburg, Styria and Carinthia. We are happy to share our passion with you and accompany you. Our golf guide Rudi Baier will also make sure that you will have fun and be in the right mood for a beautiful game.

  2nd day

  • Panorama excursion with golf guide Rudi Baier to one of the surrounding golf courses (depending on weather conditions)
  • convivial wine cellar evening in the historic vaulted cellar with host Rudi Baier, glass-wise acquaintance with the Wastlwirt wine specialities, followed by the opportunity to drink special requests

  3rd day

  • Panorama excursion with golf guide Rudi Baier to one of the surrounding golf courses (depending on weather conditions)
  • Alpine hut magic for après golf in the traditional Neuhauserstadl
  • Late Night Wellness by the sea of candlelight at the pool & sauna area with fruit and Prosecco

  4th day

  • internal tournament on the 18-hole course of the GC Lungau with mobile refreshment station
  • Award ceremony and Player’s Dinner at the Hotel Wastlwirt

  5th day

  • Early Morning Golf (Barefoot golf possible in the morning dew)

  Pure golfing pleasure for passionate golfers in the UNESCO Biosphere Park Salzburg Lungau awaits all guests of the golf founder Hotel Wastlwirt. With the 3-, 4- or 5-day Golf Alpin Card, 44 courses throughout Western Austria are playable.
