Many signposted routes for leisurely or sporty cross-country skiing excursions give you a free choice for your leisure activities during your winter holiday at the Hotel & Restaurant Wastlwirt****. Sometimes it is also fun to shift down a gear and admire the glittering winter landscape while gliding in a relaxed manner. Miles and miles of cross-country ski trails through the breathtaking area of the Lungau Biosphere provide for a sporting balance.
Variety on boards
30 cross-country trails with a length of about 150 km offer a lot of variety. For the ambitious skater there are about 80 km of skating tracks available. This year there will be a snow-covered cross-country ski run in St. Michael, only 8 minutes walking distance from the hotel. This loop will have a length of about one kilometre. Those who have never been on cross-country skis before can learn the right technique in special cross-country skiing schools. Courses for children are also offered here.
Use of the cross-country ski runs free of charge
Guests of the Hotel & Restaurant Wastlwirt**** receive the cross-country ski pass, which entitles you to use all cross-country ski trails in the Lungau free of charge. Please ask at our reception desk for more information.
